4.6 Different pin names in a top-level circuit and Bus Pin Information

When a device symbol with bus ports is used in a top-level circuit, pins connected to a bus port

may have different names from those in the bus

port. Bus Pin Info pop-up menu can be used to

associate top-level pin names to those of a bus

port.

The following example shows how Q0 to Q3 can

be associated with OUT0 to OUT3. It was done

by selecting Q0 in the bus pin list and OUT0 in

the bus list and then selecting Join Sequential.
